Applications for scholarships are requested annually from 1 September to 31 October. For ease of communication with all the nations that might be involved, application is web and email based.

The Applications are assessed independently and judged by the quality of the proposal with respect to the science, the training to be received and the value of the programme to the home institution. In this web site we have listed a brief description of past Scholars, their speciality and their area of research interest to show the range of research and training that has been covered.

Once the applications have been received they will be independently reviewed. Successful applicants will be informed early the following year. For more detailed information, please refer to the guidance notes accompanying this page. Please note that there are more applicants than can be funded, so adherence to the guidance is essential for the application to be considered.
